My mum used to say that every day is kids day and that’s why there’s Mothers Day. One special day a year to celebrate all that we do for our children. A day off from washing and house cleaning…..hopefully. A day to be pampered and treated by loving husbands and precious little angels.
So to all my customers…..HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. I hope you have a lovely weekend and your Mothers Day is everything you want it to be.

A big thanks to everybody at the Queensland 2009 4Her Womens Conference. This is the first year that Boodabubs has held a stall at the Conference Expo and we had a great time. It was great to meet lots of wonderful women and I would like to thank you all for your support.

We are so excited to be attending our first ever Mathilda’s Markets later this year. For those who are not familiar with it, Mathilda’s Market is a fabulous niche market that offers unique, stylish and affordable baby and kids wares that are lovingly handmade, from limited production or simply divine. They hand pick their artists, designers and retailers to ensure an exciting product range.
We will be attending the November market at City Hall in Brisbane. The date is yet to be confirmed.
This will be a great opportunity for me to meet some of my customers face-to-face, so come along and check it out. There’s sure to be a great selection of gorgeous items to browse through.

I have a great passion for everything ORGANIC….it’s great for our kids, for our environment and for the people who are producing it! So I’m really excited to be stocking some of the range from Under the Nile. I love Under the Nile products. My kids wear their clothes and play with their toys so I know they are great quality and hard wearing. Not to mention…..toys in little mouths that are chemical free!!

There hasn’t been much new or exciting happening in the Boodabubs Boutique……at the storefront anyway! I realise that stocks are becoming thin and you are all waiting on some new goodies.
Well, don’t panic. Rest assured that behind the scenes there are quite a few exciting things going on that should ensure our shelves are stocked in the next few weeks.
Not a lot of sewing by me…..as time is becoming more scarce with the day to day running of Boodabubs. End of last year we decided to trial some other methods of creating the funky clothes for your little ones…..still designed and customised by us at Boodabubs just a little printing and manufacturing help to lighten the load! First of the ‘final selection’ of garments are here and are currently in the test phase…..ensuring they can withstand the everyday wash and wear required for kids clothes.
Also, some exciting new brands coming to the Boodabubs Boutique….adding toys, little girls hair accessories and a few more bits and pieces.
Thanks for your patience, and it won’t be long until the new goodies are in store.

Although belated, I would like to thank everybody who has supported Boodabubs in 2008. To my loyal customers who have made Boodabubs what it is today. To my gorgeous husband and 2 little angels who support everything I do. To my family & friends who provide the best support network anybody could ask for.

I have just received my first lot of adorable bubs & kids YOGA PANTS from the amazing label EDEN. Amanda is another Sunshine Coast WAHM who creates these adorably funky pants. After many attempts to have Jayden photographed by professionals and not a great number of photos actually turning out, I was beginning to think I would never have any great photos of him. I have just loaded some pics from my camera and I came across this one. Taken in our theatre room at home by my own camera……better than any so far taken by the pros!

It feels like the middle of summer here on the Sunshine Coast over the past couple of weeks. Finally we can stop telling Kyan that it’s too cold to go in the pool. Our pool does tend to stay rather cold for quite a while but we managed our first swim of this spring/summer last weekend…..when I say we, I mean Rohan and the boys…..still too cold in there for me!
